NATIONAL HEALTH SURVEILLANCE AGENCY



An autonomous body under special regulations that promotes the protection of the population's health through sanitary control of the production and consumption of products and services subject to sanitary surveillance, including environments, processes, inputs and technologies related to them, as well as the control of ports, airports, borders and customs areas.

FEDERAL REVENUE



An agency subordinate to the Ministry of Finance, responsible for administering federal taxes, including social security taxes and those levied on foreign trade, covering a significant portion of the country's social contributions. It assists the Federal Executive Branch in formulating Brazilian tax policy and prevents and combats tax irregularities, among other matters.

MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS



The Executive Branch body responsible for Brazil's foreign policy and international relations. Itamaraty advises the President of the Republic on formulating Brazil's foreign policy and maintaining diplomatic relations with states and international organizations.

Regulates the conditions for the operation of companies subject to health licensing, and the registration, control and monitoring, within the scope of health surveillance, of the products covered by Law No. 6,360, of September 23, 1976, and provides other measures.

Provides for the Health Surveillance to which Medicines, Drugs, Pharmaceutical Inputs and Related Products, Cosmetics, Sanitizing Agents and Other Products are subject, and provides other measures.
